"Love is the spirit that motivates the artists journey ~ Eric Maisel"
Alexandria is a trained metal smith with her realm in important jewelry and bridal suites. She is passionate within her craft and handles the responsibility with depth and understanding. She approaches each project with enthusiasm as she interprets her client’s vision through sculpture. Her aesthetic is represented by her interpretations of architecture and the natural world as she has always found inspiration in the small subtleties around her. Each piece Alexandria creates, symbolizes a classic view. Always tailored, always timeless.
Alexandria’s roots are very much in the East Coast. Born in central MA and surrounded by nature and creative minds that always encouraged her to think outside the box.
She studied metals, photography and sculpture in high school which cemented her love of the arts. During college, and living in Cambridge, she found inspiration in the diverse energy and the historic architecture. Alexandria’s path to design and metals was one she realized at a young age. Her passion for creating jewelry seemed natural to her as her Father was an engineer and her Mother was a painter.
She joined the Bostonian team in 1999 and has flourished in the heart of the city. Her “techie” experience secured Bostonian’s path into the new millennium with the integration of everything digital. Alexandria was one of a very small handful of jewelers to embrace CAD designing in the very beginning and rose above the skepticism. After 16 years, she continues to design for many wholesale accounts, as well as her own clients through avenues online, abroad and in person. Alexandria’s strong passion allows her to deliver timeless classic pieces and provide a truly exceptional experience. She has had many of her designs included in print publications like Modern Jeweler, Boston Magazine, and National Jeweler.
While jewelry design and fabrication is her passion, another topic close to her heart is the education and business development of the youth in her communities. Personal growth through Creative Arts. She attended Lesley College in Cambridge to further her degree in education and psychology. She is a founding member and resides on the Board of Directors at The Corwin-Russell School in Sudbury MA; a small independent secondary school for gifted, talented students of superior intelligence with a focus on academic.
Beyond that, you can find her and her husband in the garden or spending time with their two rescue cats named Pink and Floyd.
